What is Wall?

A large resting order at one price that stalls the market while it is eaten. What happens after it breaks is usually faster than what happened into it.

A wall is a resting order big enough to stop price where it stands. Watching one is how you learn the difference between conviction and theatre: price approaches, and it either gets eaten — printing a run of trades at that level — or it disappears before contact. Only one of those was ever real.
