What is Ground held?

Where the price sits inside the session's range. At the top of the range buyers hold everything that was contested; at the bottom, sellers do.

Ground held is where price currently sits inside the session's range, expressed as a percentage. At the top of the range buyers hold everything that was contested that day; at the bottom, sellers do. It answers 'who is winning' in a way a percentage change from the open does not, because it accounts for everywhere price has actually been.
